To start, make sure that the things you're designing benefit people and that you're creating something worth existing. Then, craft (and communicate) your strategy. Pursue this strategy through honesty, deliberateness and adventure. Along the way, involve everyone, including the end users, but keep sight of your original North Star. Resist the urge to coast. Most importantly, see your designs from concept to setting sail.
